Step into a multisensory experience this June in the Casting Studio at Leigh Spinners Mill for Step in the Picture’s Just the Tonic – Gin Inspired Casting Workshop. In partnership with Wild Fox Distillery based in Inglewhite, Preston, this workshop will embark on a journey of discovery of the botanicals used in Wild Fox Distillery’s Mane Event Five Start Gin. The workshop will help you unwind by resetting your mind starting with some mindful clay play, you will then be introduced to the story of Wild Fox Distillery and their gin whilst learning the techniques of botanical relief casting with clay and plaster to make your own Gin-inspired cast whilst experiencing the unique flavours of Ruby Grapefruit and herbaceous aromas of their Mane Event Gin which is distilled in small batch copper stills direct from farm to bottle. The workshop includes all the materials and one complimentary Gin and Tonic. You will also get to take home your cast on the same day. Due to the messy nature of the workshop, old clothes are advised however aprons will be provided. Light refreshments will also be included. Due to licensing, no alcohol will be for sale during the workshop, Mane Event Five Star Gin will be available to purchase directly from Wild Fox Distillery.

Cancellation Policy

Due to the nature of the materials involved in the workshop, we advise suitable clothes are worn as it may get messy. Step in the Picture accepts no liability for any damages to clothes, jewellery or personal belongings whilst participating in a workshop. Step in the Picture reserves the right to amend, postpone or cancel a workshop, this includes if the minimum number of workshop participants is not met. In such circumstances, I will endeavour to provide an alternative date, credit or full refund at my discretion. All workshop fees include a 50% non-refundable deposit, if you wish to cancel your place on a workshop I will accept notice no less than 2 weeks before the workshop is due to take place. Step in the Picture will offer an alternative date where possible or a refund of 50% of the ticket value, I regret I do not offer full refunds. For the safety of the staff and everyone participating in the workshops please do not attend if you have any Covid symptoms or have been told to self-isolate. In this circumstance, please inform Step in the Picture before the workshop taking place so an alternative date can be arranged. If the event is advertised with food, please contact Step in the Picture at least 1 week in advance if you have any dietary requirements so these can be passed on to the catering company.
